Kenneth Bandler
Media Relations
Kenneth Bandler has extensive experience as a public relations executive and journalist in the Jewish community. He served as the director of media relations for the American Jewish Committee (AJC), the premier Jewish global advocacy organization, for more than 25 years, handling print, digital, radio and TV media in the U.S. and around the world. Before joining the AJC staff in December 1998, he was Managing Editor of the JTA, the global Jewish newswire service. He previously served as Director of Public Information for the National Jewish Community Relations Advisory Council, the public policy umbrella organization comprised of JCRCs and major national Jewish groups. He holds a BA from Lehigh University in international relations and journalism, and an M.A. in Middle East Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London. He has written about Jewish-Arab relations in Israel for more than 40 years. His articles have appeared in The Jerusalem Post, New York Jewish Week, JTA, JNS, The Christian Science Monitor, and The New York Times.
